Manager for Financial, Corporate Systems & IT Operations/Support

Job Purpose
We are seeking a Manager for Financial, Corporate Systems & IT Operations/Support with strong expertise in ERP systems/processes, Revenue Accounting and settlement processes, both intercompany and with strategic airline partners. This role is critical in ensuring the reliability and evolution of financial and corporate systems, as well as the processing and integrity of revenue accounting flows, interline billing, proration, and settlement operations across the airline ecosystem.
In addition, the role leads internal and external teams, manages the area’s budget, oversees growth and transformation initiatives, and ensures end-to-end support operations—including helpdesk, communications, incident management, and 24x7 services—reporting directly to the CDIO
Key Responsabilities
Financial & Corporate Systems
Oversee and enhance core financial systems, with a strong focus on Revenue Accounting, interline billing, and airline settlement processes.
Ensure accurate and timely execution of key processes such as:
intercompany settlement,
settlement with strategic partners,
IATA processes (BSP, ARC, IS-XML, SIS),
proration, revenue recognition, reconciliation, and accounting rules.
Drive automation, standardization, and continuous improvement across revenue accounting processes.
Settlement Processes (Intercompany & Partner Settlement)
Lead and control end-to-end intercompany settlement processes within the group.
Manage operational and technical settlement processes with strategic airline partners, alliances, and codeshare agreements.
Ensure full data traceability, financial accuracy, and process compliance with IATA standards.
IT Operations & General Support
Supervise daily IT operations for all corporate systems, ensuring stability, availability, and continuity.
Oversee general IT support services: helpdesk, communications, incident and problem management, access control, and 24x7 support.
Ensure adherence to SLAs, operational KPIs, and proactive monitoring.
Resource Management (Internal & External)
Lead mixed teams composed of internal staff and external vendors.
Prioritize workloads, define responsibilities, and ensure service quality.
Manage vendor performance, SLAs, contracts, and deliveries.
Budget & Financial Management
Own the area’s budget, including licensing, support contracts, manpower, and project investments.
Monitor expenditures and propose financially efficient solutions aligned with digital strategy.
Growth & Transformation Projects
Lead technology upgrades, system migrations, and new functional implementations.
Drive digitalization initiatives for financial and operational processes.
Ensure proper change management, user adoption, and cross-functional alignment.
Stakeholder Management
Work closely with Finance, Revenue Management, Commercial, Operations, and airline partners.
Provide regular updates, metrics, and risk assessments to the CDIO and senior leadership.
Education
Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Telecommunications, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
Experience
3–4 years of experience in similar roles within financial or corporate systems.
Strong experience in Revenue Accounting within airlines or the travel industry is highly valued.
Hands-on experience with:
intercompany liquidation processes,
settlement with strategic partners,
IATA settlement standards (BSP, ARC, SIS, interline billing).
Experience managing internal and external technical teams.
Experience overseeing general IT support and 24x7 operational environments.
Technical Knowledge
Familiarity with Revenue Accounting systems and ERP financial modules.
Deep understanding of interline billing, proration, settlement, and IATA clearing processes.
Knowledge of system integrations, corporate architectures, and middleware.
ITIL processes (incidents, problems, change management).
Knowledge of networks, communications, and monitoring tools (intermediate level).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with leading Revenue Accounting platforms (e.g., Accelya, PROS, Amadeus RA or similar).
ITIL Foundation certification.
Knowledge of cloud environments and system modernization projects.
