Job Purpose
The main purpose of the Alliances Manager is to drive and expand high-impact strategic alliances that support the LEVEL growth plan. This role is key in identifying, developing, and managing partnerships that unlock new opportunities, enhance our market presence and accelerate scalable sustainable growth.
This position is based in Barcelona and reports to the Head of Network and Alliances.
Main Responsibilities - Tasks
- Identify and develop partnerships: actively seek out and develop alliances with companies that align with LEVEL’s strategic objectives. Maximize the opportunities within existing IAG’s Partners
- Negotiation and agreement: negotiate favorable partnership agreements with key stakeholders, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes. Participate in group negotiations
- Opportunities identification: establish and coordinate the implementation of working groups to identify and implement opportunities across all the functions. Work effectively with internal teams, to ensure alignment and successful implementation of partnership initiatives.
- Relationship Management: cultivate strong, long-term relationships with partner organizations, addressing any issues and ensuring ongoing collaboration
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting: track and report on the performance of partnerships, to inform strategic decisions.
- Industry Awareness: keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging partnership opportunities
- Strategic Alliances Project Management: Deliver Ad-hoc projects and requests related to Strategic Alliances.
- Process documentation: prepare and maintain the documentation of the negotiation process across all the internal stakeholders (commercial, operations, finance, legal, etc)
Experience
We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional to join the team:
- At least +5 years of experience in commercial departments with a minimum of 2 years expertise in Airline Partnerships and Alliances.
- Strong Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate complex agreements and reach mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Relationship Management Expertise: Experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, track performance, and identify areas for improvement.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the airline industry and related sectors.
- Business Acumen: Understanding of business principles and financial implications of partnerships.
Languages
Fluent in English and Spanish.
