Scheduling Analyst

Job Purpose
Network Planning & Scheduling is responsible for strategic and operational decisions related to LEVEL’s long-haul network based in Barcelona. We are at an exciting stage of the airline’s development leading the network expansion with aircraft evaluation and planning for fleet acquisitions, plan capacity in existing markets and forecast performance of potential new additions to the network. We design and optimize the schedule considering operational feasibility and reliability. We review the revenue and cost performance of all our markets to optimally deploy capacity and maximize network profitability.
The successful candidate will be part of the Network Planning & Scheduling Team to support the schedule optimization in the long, medium, and short term, with the coordination to all relevant stakeholders of the Flight Program.
Main Responsibilities - Tasks
- Produce, optimize, and maintain the flights schedule in coordination with the company’s relevant business areas, for which this person will have to ensure network optimization while operational feasibility and will apply constraints and limitations related to operations, commercial, slots, etc. to meet the operational and commercial targets of the Company.
- Manage the publication process of the schedule in coordination with internal stakeholders.
- Manage connections reports and identify continuous improvements in schedule.
- Communicate the schedule updates to internal and external stakeholders.
- Produce and develop metrics, follow ups, presentations, automatizations, and reporting.
- Able to support other tasks in network team.
Education
- Degree in engineering, economics, airline management or equivalent.
Experience
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience.
- Advanced user of Office package (specifically Excel and Power Point).
- Experience in airline related positions and particularly in Network / Slots / Scheduling is a plus.
- Knowledge of Scheduling and Flight Distribution Systems, i.e. Sabre Air vision, AIMS is a plus.
- Computer programming skills is a plus.
